Just north of the North End, the Highlands climbs into the foothills along Bogus Basin Road, which makes it the city’s gateway to Bogus Basin. City Cast Boise says it probably has the highest share of mid-century modern homes in Boise, mixed with newer houses higher on the hills. Crane Creek Country Club’s private golf course sits in the middle, Simplot Hill and its flag rise above, and Bob’s Trail links the streets to the Hull’s Gulch trails.
What’s Hard on Windows in the Highlands
Mid-century modern design leans on big panes and sliding glass doors, and that’s a lot of surface for foothill dust to settle on. Tree cover is thin, about 11 percent, so afternoon sun bakes sprinkler spots onto lower panes. We scrub every pane by hand, squeegee it dry and detail the frames and sills. Slider tracks collect a surprising amount of grit, and adding track detailing gets it out. Screens come off and go back on when we work outside. Homes on a slope often have second-story glass that’s hard to reach, and we use a water-fed pole on some of those windows.
When to Book a Cleaning in the Highlands
Highlands homes catch dust from the hills all summer, so an early-fall cleaning clears the worst of it. Pair it with a spring visit for our Biannual membership. Homes with lots of glass show every spot, and Quarterly visits with our RainBlock pure water rinse keep them looking sharp.

Highlands Window Cleaning FAQs
Quick answers for homes in the Highlands, Boise.
My Highlands house has a lot of sliding glass doors. Do you clean the tracks?
Yes. Sliders are some of the most-used glass in a house. We scrub both sides by hand and squeegee them dry. Add track detailing and the grit comes out of the track too, so the door looks as clean as the glass.
Can you get to homes up the winding Highlands streets?
Yes. Hillside driveways and winding streets are fine, and we bring our own water and gear, so you never need to provide anything. Exterior-only visits need nobody home, and on some second-story glass we use a water-fed pole.
How much does window cleaning cost in the Highlands?
Prices start as low as $175. Your exact price depends on how many windows you have, inside, outside or both, and extras like screens and tracks. Here’s what changes the price, or get a free quote.
