How Much Does Window Cleaning Cost in Boise?
At Double Take, window cleaning prices start as low as $175. Where your home lands depends on how much glass you have, what you want cleaned, and how easy the windows are to reach. Here’s what changes the price, and how to get an exact number for free.
What changes the price
Every home is different, so every quote is built around yours. These are the things that move it up or down:
- How many windows you have. More glass takes more time. Windows divided into lots of small panes take longer than one big sheet of glass.
- Inside, outside or both. Outside only costs less than a full inside-and-outside cleaning.
- Screens and tracks. Screen cleaning and track detailing take extra time, so they add to the price.
- Hard water spots. Light spots get worked on during every cleaning. Heavy mineral spots from sprinklers take extra work, so they’re priced on site. Monthly and Quarterly members get hard water removal on up to 5 panes every visit at no charge.
- Height and access. Second-story windows, tall entryways and glass over stairs mean ladders, more setup and more care.
- How long it’s been. Windows that haven’t been cleaned in years carry more buildup, and that takes longer to cut through.
- How often you clean. Memberships save money on every cleaning.
What every cleaning includes
Every window is cleaned by hand, never pressure washed. Outside, we take your screens off, scrub the glass with a mop, squeegee it dry, and clean and detail the frames, edges and sills that others skip, then put the screens back. Monthly and Quarterly members also get RainBlock free (our pure water rinse: water filtered down to zero minerals, so the glass dries spot-free with no soap or residue left behind for dirt to cling to), plus our 7-day Rain Guarantee. Here’s more on how we clean.
Add-ons
Add any of these to the same visit and everything gets done in one trip:
- Screen cleaning, on our XERO screen cleaning machine
- Window track detailing
- Hard water spot removal
- Gutter cleaning
- Solar panel cleaning
How to get the most for your money
- Join a membership. Monthly, Quarterly and Biannual memberships take money off every cleaning, and Monthly and Quarterly add free RainBlock, the 7-day Rain Guarantee and free hard water removal on up to 5 panes every visit. See the memberships.
- Do it all in one visit. Windows, screens, tracks and gutters in one trip means one appointment instead of several.
- Stay on a schedule. Regular cleanings keep buildup and hard water spots from setting in. Here’s how often to clean your windows.
Is it worth paying a pro?
You can clean your own windows. Hiring it out buys back a day, keeps you off the ladder, and gets you glass with no streaks. Here’s what two of our customers said about the price:
“Very happy with the service provided and the price.”
“Sean was the perfect combination of knowledge, hard work and pleasant personality. He went the extra mile to make sure his work was top notch. The price was reasonable. We will definitely use this business service again and would recommend them highly.”
Comparing quotes? Ask these three things
- Are you insured? Anyone working on ladders at your home should be. We’re locally owned and fully insured.
- What’s included? Ask whether frames, sills, screens and tracks are part of the price or extra, so you’re comparing the same job.
- What if it rains, or I find a streak? If rain spots your windows the same day we clean, we come back for free, for every customer, and Monthly and Quarterly members get a 7-day Rain Guarantee. Find a streak? Tell us within 48 hours and we’ll make it right at no charge.
