The North End sits just north of downtown, between State Street and Hill Road, with Harrison Boulevard running through it. Most of it falls inside Boise’s largest historic district, where the city says the big building boom ran from 1891 to 1915. Queen Anne houses, bungalows and Tudor Revival homes share narrow lots, and alleys split most blocks. Tree canopy covers about a third of the neighborhood, more than double the city average. Hyde Park, at 13th and Eastman, works as the little main street, and the foothill trails start at the north edge.
What’s Hard on Windows in the North End
All that shade is lovely in July, but those leafy trees shed pollen in spring and leaves in fall, and a lot of it lands on sills, in window tracks and in gutters. We scrub each pane by hand with a mop, squeegee it dry, then wipe the frames and sills. Outside, every screen comes off and goes back on, and you can add screen cleaning on our XERO machine. Ask for track detailing and we’ll get the packed-in grit, not just the loose stuff. Tall gables and second-story glass? We reach some of that with a water-fed pole. Gutters full of leaves can be cleaned on the same visit.
When to Book a Cleaning in the North End
A good plan for the North End is twice a year: once in spring after the trees finish shedding pollen, and again in fall once the leaves are down. That’s our Biannual membership. If the trees on your street keep dusting the glass, Quarterly visits keep it clear, and Quarterly members get our RainBlock pure water rinse and the 7-day Rain Guarantee.

Christmas Lights in the North End
Harrison Boulevard is known for dressing up for the holidays, and North End gables and bungalow rooflines were made for a string of lights. We cut LED strands to fit your roofline, hang them with roof-safe clips, and take them down on the date you pick. See Christmas light installation in Boise.

North End Window Cleaning FAQs
Quick answers for homes in the North End, Boise.
Do you clean the older homes along Harrison Boulevard and around Hyde Park?
Yes. We clean homes, duplexes and small storefronts all over the North End, from State Street up to Hill Road. Everything is done by hand with a mop and squeegee, and frames and sills get wiped down on every visit.
My house sits under huge trees. Will I still get water spots?
Often, yes. Shade slows drying, but lawn sprinklers still throw hard water on lower panes, and that leaves white mineral spots. We work on light spots during every cleaning. Heavier staining is priced on site, and Monthly and Quarterly members get hard water removal on up to 5 panes every visit.
How much does window cleaning cost in the North End?
Prices start as low as $175. Your exact price depends on how many windows you have, inside, outside or both, and extras like screens and tracks. Here’s what changes the price, or get a free quote.
