Meridian’s city council approved The Oaks in 2008 as a 320-acre walkable community, first developed by Coleman Homes. The plan called for about six miles of trails and 30 acres of parks and open space. Today it’s a group of sections, including Oak Creek, Oaks West and the North section, where Toll Brothers builds.
